Security and control
Maintley is responsible for protecting the software and enforcing access. You remain in control of the property information you choose to keep in it.
You retain ownership of the information you enter. Maintley receives only the permission needed to store and process that information to operate the service.
Maintley is designed for useful property records such as maintenance history, equipment details, documents, warranties, photos, and reminders. It is not intended to become an unnecessary personal profile.
Firebase Authentication identifies the person signing in. Authentication alone does not grant access to property records.
Maintley checks whether a person belongs to the account that owns or manages the records.
Available actions can be limited by account role and by assignment to particular properties.
Firestore, Storage, and server checks enforce access boundaries instead of relying only on whether a button is visible.
Maintley does not automatically give contractors or service businesses access to a property. A person must have the appropriate account and property permissions before they can view or change records.
Maintenance records are attributed to the person or organization that submitted them when that information is available. Attribution explains who recorded something; it does not mean Maintley verified the work or certified that it was completed correctly.
Maintley uses Firebase services for authentication, property records, and uploaded files. Access rules are tied to account and property permissions, and administrative support systems are separated from ordinary customer roles.
No online service can promise absolute security. Maintley maintains practical controls, limits access according to implemented permissions, and asks users to protect their credentials and report suspected account compromise promptly.
Email maintleyapp@gmail.com for privacy questions, deletion requests, or suspected account compromise. Do not include passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive information in email.
This page explains Maintley's current product controls in plain language. The Legal Hub, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service provide the governing legal terms.
